Same proven design as the GEN 1 rod built with modern blended IM8 Carbon Fiber material for better performance. Lighter weight, faster recovery and longer casts make the GEN 2 rods a must have for the serious surf angler! Features FUJI KWAG guides and FUJI reel seat.

Great application for light bottom surf fishing but really shines throwing metals and lures. Rod includes all components (guides, reel seat, foam grips) assembled at the factory. Each Cast Pro Series rod comes with a nice rod bag.

If you have found yourself reading this review, you also have been doing a lot of reading and video watching to choose the perfect rod. It took me months to decide and then I literally read one sentence in a others rod review “ If you have have a chance to get your hands on a Carolina Cast Pro, grab that first”. That really peaked my interest since CCP is not listed like other mfg rods except for that one sentence in the article and some fishing forums.
